[photogallerylink id=102285 align=right]Once, the Broadway musical based on the 2006 Irish film, won four Tony Awards out of 11 nominations, including Best Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for Steve Kazee.

As their performance of the song “Gold” brought the house down at the ceremony, the camera panned to Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglova, the original couple in the film, as they sat in the audience.
