Devo’s third album is the one which propelled them into the mainstream. “Freedom of Choice” reached #22 on the Billboard album charts in 1980. The album produced four singles, one of which we featured today on the Daily Rewind.

Devo’s “Freedom of Choice” had the song “Whip It” which is arguably their biggest song. But the album also had three other singles including the title track, “Freedom of Speech”. The video is pretty cool too.
