’80s-tinged dance-punk band, Neon Trees, have been riding a wave of success after the début of their first album, Habits.
Now the “Animal” and “Everybody Talks” hitmakers are preparing for the release of their sophomore album, Picture Show, on April 17.
In the last two days, the band has premiered two new singles; one from their album called “Moving In The Dark” and another called “Lessons in Love (All Day, All Night)” from Kaskade‘s electro-house experimental venture called Fire & Ice.
“I’m so thrilled how it turned out,” frontman Tyler Glenn told Spinner. “Kaskade’s remixed version was so big and abrasive, in a wonderful way. We needed to keep that sultry dark cool to it.”
“When I wrote it, I recalled nights I’ve had at shows where all I want to do is hide in the dark of the clubs,” Glenn continued. “That feeling, mixed with the theme that life is a series of missteps and grand successes, and we should all learn from every one of those moments, is the essence of ‘Lessons in Love.’”
Neon Trees have kept the dance vibes flowing with another track called “Moving in the Dark” streaming from Artist Direct and off their upcoming album, Picture Show.
