Tom’s Restaurant, at the corner of Broadway and West 112th St. in New York City, was called Monk’s Cafe on Seinfeld, but [lastfm]Suzanne Vega[/lastfm] called it Tom’s Diner on her album Solitude Standing which was released 25 years ago today. Tom’s Diner was a cappella on the album and in 1991 it was remixed by [lastfm]DNA[/lastfm].
