Record Store Day is shaping up to be quite a day in music. Dozens of new, previously unreleased and remixed tracks are due to hit shelves, yes, actual wooden shelves, on April 21st.

Included in that lineup are two Arcade Fire remixes from Damian Taylor. Limited edition vinyl of “Sprawl II” (Mountains Beyond Mountains) and “Ready To Start” will be among the offerings.

The Sprawl II remix originally accompanied last year’s interactive video. Taylor’s “Ready To Start” mix baits the listener with his light touch, but as the songs progresses his influence is more pronounced, ending in a near dubstep style distorted beat.
