Formed in London in 1979 originally as “The Portraits”, The Fixx had a number of hits in the 1980s including “Saved By Zero”, “Stand or Fall”, “One Thing Leads To Another” and the song we featured on today’s Vinyl Vineyard.
Though the song “Red Skies” was recorded and released in 1982, The Fixx says their label, MCA, wanted them to record it again and put it on the album “React”, which came out in 1987.
The Fixx continues to record and tour. In fact, they have an album due out this Spring!

You can check them out on their official Facebook page here.
