With side projects named Queen Elizabeth, Brain Donor and Black Sheep, Julian Cope is a champion of all things odd and obscure when it comes to music. Today’s Rewind featured a song of his from 1986 called “World Shut Your Mouth”.

Julian Cope is an interesting fellow.  A visit to his official site will confirm this.  He’s written several books and is considered a cultural and political activist.

World Shut Your Mouth is a track from his 1986 album entitled “Saint Julian”.  World Shut Your Mouth was the name of his debut solo album in 1984.
