The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2002 was announced on December 13, 2001. That class included [lastfm]Isaac Hayes[/lastfm], [lastfm]Talking Heads[/lastfm], [lastfm]Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers[/lastfm], and [lastfm]The Ramones[/lastfm]. [lastfm]Eddie Vedder[/lastfm], wearing a mohawk, made the speech inducting [lastfm]The Ramones[/lastfm].
Part 1


History, it seems, has finally caught up with the Ramones. They are now hailed as one of the most influential American bands, and their music reaches more ears today than it did during those hard-working years when they were loudly going about the revolutionary business of reinventing rock and roll.
