Since the Sunday alcohol sales bill passed last session, there has been more talk among legislators about expanded gambling in Georgia.
Don’t look for a casino in Georgia just yet. There is, however, talk about horse racing.
Last session, the Georgia General Assembly passed a bill that many are pointing to as a marker of change in the state: the Sunday alcohol sales bill. Former Governor Perdue admits in this article from Fox 5, that Sunday alcohol sales and gambling are related to one another.
What do you think? Do you favor having expanded gaming in Georgia? Do you think the legislature will soon pass a bill allowing betting on horses? Or perhaps a casino or two?
