A severe thunderstorm wreaked havoc on Ottawa’s Bluesfest in Canada last night, causing the stage to collapse while [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cheap Trick[/lastfm] were performing on stage. According to Billboard.com, the band made it off stage safely, but at least five people were injured, with one person recieving serious injuries.
Immediately afterward, Cheap Trick tweeted a link to their site giving their take on the events. The link includes a great pic of the band onstage with the impending storm approaching.
